Boney Assanar is the founder and managing partner of High Hopes Film Factory. He is a native of Irinjalakuda , Thrissur. After completing his plus two studies, he earned a mechanical diploma and worked at Cochin Shipyard. He found time for reading and writing in the mean time. Due to his love of cinema, he also directed a few short films that attracted the attention of the audience. He also worked as an assistant director, project designer of some Malayalam movies. He decided to devote his full time to cinema and to the distribution marketing .
